Summer Reading 2022
Beginning June 1, you can sign up for Summer Reading at Cambridge City Public Library or online at CambridgCityLibrary.READsquared.com. Readers of all ages are welcome to compete for drawing prizes. Reading more books increases your chances of winning the drawing for your age category.
Did you know that children who read over the summer break have a much easier time picking up where they left off, ready to learn when school starts up again in August? We encourage parents and caregivers to read a book every day to your pre-readers and sign them up for summer reading as well. All of the public libraries in Wayne County have great summer reading programs with lots of fun activities and prizes, so head to your local library to get started!
Wednesday afternoon Summer Reading events for all ages will be at 2:00 pm at the Western Wayne Elementary Gym, at 801 East Delaware Street in Cambridge City. On July 27, we welcome the fabulous Lincoln Marching Band performing their State Fair program back “home” at Cambridge City Public Library at 600 W. Main in Cambridge City.
